2010
Otodata Wireless Network founded by Andre Boulay and Jason M. Gallovich in Montreal, Quebec
They began the deployment of various private networks accross eastern Canada. This network was called the Otodata Wireless Network, and all protoypes being developed at this time communicated via this private network.
2014
Generation 1 "SPRS" tank monitor launched in Canada.
Our first tank monitor to hit the market communicated solely through "SPRS" (Secure Packet Radio Service) via the Otodata Wireless Network, and was only one of many products developed and sold by Otodata at this time. Other notable devices offered were a home security backup, vehicle control (GPS Iris), and vehicle tracking system (Tag Tracking).
This first generation tank monitor would become the prototype of the flagship model we sell today.
2016
Generation 2 cellular monitor launched in United States and Canada.
Maintaining and expanding our own SPRS network proved to be very costly, slow work. So, Otodata pivots and adopts LTE/3G cellular technology; allowing our monitors to operate anywhere in the world.
2020
Renovo Capital LLC purchases shares of Otodata Wireless Network.
US-based investment fund helped accelerate growth.
2021
Acquisition of Wise Telemetry
US-based experts in the Industrial Gas sector.
The acquisition of Wise Telemetry, a leading provider of remote monitoring devices and services for the industrial gas industry, was of great importance to Otodata. The Wise team offers expert knowledge and experience in the industrial gas sector, allowing Otodata to greatly expand our product offerings and reach new markets.
Acquisition of WACnGO
Israel-based experts in tank monitoring and delivery in South America and the Middle East.
The WacnGo team helped accelerate our diversification into the propane truck distribution and delivery markets. Their know-how and expertise allow us to further to leverage our innovative solutions in new markets such as South America and Eastern Europe.
2022
Opening of our first US-based office and warehouse in Pittsburgh, USA

Acquisition of Allsenso
Poland-based supplier of IoT devices for the European LPG monitoring and metering market.
